That's then that my mother had built a cradle for her rag doll using a simple shoebox: he used the cover for putting it straight on the short side, had fixed on the cover a piece of cloth edged with lace to decorate it, and the help of her grandmother had sewn cloth and cover for the bed of his beloved playmate
