Made a few years ago thanks to funds made available by the city of Latina, the many murals to color part of the ring, with paintings of feelings like that of solidarity and peace, now falling to pieces certainly do not represent the best calling card for the city's historic center. After countless sessions go empty for lack of a quorum, even the youth council had decided a few weeks ago, the use of the funds available to organize a new competition. Then, surprise: the Council of the "large" had already decided to revive the competition: real writers (that is, artists who perform with spray cans, real works of art, to differ from scratch more or less talented thugs left scattered in the streets of the city) could once again demonstrate their creative flair. Funds would be ready and determined the place. Decided the place? Exactly: the next contest, in fact, not be taken more Lamarmora avenue but in the most central and Neghelli little way, namely by the new parking lot built behind the medical school. The choice is inexplicable that the City Council, which is unlikely to satisfy anyone and that is perhaps the most emblematic example of the remoteness of the nerve center of the city and its citizens. They will not be happy with the writers, that will have much less space and much less visibility for their works (the usable surface is made up of less than half the space than that offered by the walls of the oratory San Marco and the murals will be visible only from inside the park). They will not be happy with other citizens who, though not lovers of the murals, they would have preferred to see a white wall or a wall painting, rather than a ruined wall. They will not be happy even the speakers of the same City Council: to improve the condition of the wall of the Marmora Avenue, in fact, need or spend money to organize a new competition or spend more money for painting the walls. All that remains is hope in the new rulers, in their greater knowledge of their city and a new location, what would seem the most natural, for this contest.
